Country Estate. Sales in Sitari Country Estate break the R1 billion barrier in record 41 months
Award-winning Sitari Country Estate is now around 41 months into its journey to full maturity since launching late 2014 – and sales there have already broken the R1 billion barrier. Says Claudius Combrinck, Executive Director of Uvest Property Sales: “To date Uvest Property Sales has concluded 825 transactions, to the value of R1.094 bn. This achievement is testament to the buy-in to our vision for Sitari as an exciting new suburb for contemporary country living in the Helderberg. We have already transferred 367 properties to the value of R460 688 783 to their new owners, which includes Country Plots, Country Homes, Village Homes and Luxury and Premium Apartments.”
“2018 has already proven to be another momentous year for Sitari. Already our sales for February this year, at 39 sales to the value of R57.7 million, are significantly higher than in February 2017, when we made 29 sales to the value of R44.4 million. March also showed some good results, and the outlook for April is very positive.” Adds John Coetzee, Executive Director of Uvest Property Group: “In addition to sub-developers we currently have 13 accredited builders working on site along with us, and we foresee in excess of 350 apartments and homes being under construction in Sitari Country Estate during 2018.
“I expect construction to start on the Secondary Gatehouse shortly, with the security component thereof completed in 2019 and the offices thereafter. The Country Clubhouse civil work will start this year, with construction in 2019 with a view to being fully operational by 2020. The Wetland Design of the 22-hectare wetland (recreated Klein Zeekoevlei) has previously been approved by the Local Authority and the Departments of Water and Environmental Affairs. Work commenced on the Western side late last year and the Eastern side will begin simultaneously with the civil construction of the Country Clubhouse. Construction on the 12 500 m2 shopping centre owned by the Shoprite Checkers Group is set to start in the middle of the year, with completion scheduled in 2019.”
Sitari has proven extremely popular with apartment buyers, with 39 of the Waterbrook Premium Apartments selling in 59 days after launch. Subsequent to this two new schemes have been escalated and launched to market – Waterford Place Luxury Apartments and Paradiso Premium Apartments. The Waterford Place Luxury Apartments are located within easy access of the 2.2 km Orchard Lane, while the Paradiso Premium Apartments will offer views of the Klein Zeekoevlei Wetland, and easy access to the 14 km bike and jogging path. Adds Coetzee: “As our apartment blocks and streets of homes are completed, we are constantly gaining residents. By the end of the year we should have close to 500 families resident in Sitari Country Estate.”
